Had some fun last night taking some photographs on opening night of the new Gross Confection Bar in the Old Port. ( 57 Exchange St. Portland, Maine) You guys, this place is really amazing. The brick basement interior gives it a warm and cozy vibe to kick back and enjoy some wine or an amazing cocktail. The cat was let out of the bag and the place was nicely packed. I will have a New Moves please with Monkey Shoulder Rum or maybe a glass of pinot… I can never decide.
As far as the desserts go each one is in incredible work of art. Watching Brant and his team work in the kitchen putting it all together was pretty awesome. Torching Crumb Brûlée is pretty rad! I mean, 3 Chocolate Mess? Yeah, I am in.
