Hospitality Branding Photos at Cape Arundel Inn & Resort

Recently did some interior and architecture photography at the Cape Arundel Inn & Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine. The lodging choices there include secluded rooms at the Club House, located a short walk, golf cart ride or drive from the Main House. It is tucked away back there which is nice so I barely even knew it was there! It is situated in a residential neighborhood on 15 wooded acres, this vintage hideaway—formerly the Old Fort Estate—offers guests a restful place to escape Kennebunkport’s summer crowds, yet easy access to all this popular Maine town—and the amazing Kennebunkport resort—have to offer. Days here begin with fresh brewed coffee and pastries on the screened porch. Order lunch without leaving your lounge chair by the heated lap pool. Play billiards and sip cocktails by the stone fireplace at the Club House Lounge before dinner at their Ocean restaurant. This place is a true gem on the Maine coast.

Architectural photography of The Rowan Hotel in downtown Palm Springs

I recently spent the most amazing week spent in Palm Springs, California photographing some amazing residential interiors and architecture as well as some amazing hotels with the incredible photographer, teacher and mentor, Scott Frances. We spent a morning photographing interiors of the stunning hotel, The Rowan, in beautiful downtown Palm Springs. And I thoroughly enjoyed going back at sunset to photograph the exterior. The desert beauty permeates every experience here. The views from the rooms and open decks are breathtaking. Every interior space is so beautifully designed. Palm Springs is most definitely is a desert dreamland.

Advertising Campaign for MaineGeneral Health

Last fall I worked with the fun and talented team at Garrand Moehlenkamp photographing a commercial advertising campaign for MaineGeneral Health. Over the course of a couple days we photographed for their print and on air campaign: We’re with you.

We kicked off the first photoshoot in a beautiful apple orchard which featured a family and then moved to the second location a playground in Augusta. Perhaps, the funniest thing of the entire process was when the creative director jumped in (literally) between shots to chase the 2 year old around and bribe with fruit snacks to get him to run to his mom, laugh and smile! Thankfully, it worked and we got the shot!

Day two started at The Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care where we photographed outside three generations in the serene courtyard for this print ad shown below. We wrapped the shoot at the colorful Farmers Market in Waterville. Since it was actually open for business and we did not want to disrupt the market our biggest challenge here was waiting for our moment when we would not capture shopper’s faces in the picture. As a bonus, we all left with some fresh tomatoes and fall vegetables!

Below are a few of my favorite outtakes from the days
